Dr. Pingel is always so kind and patient with both of my kids. He is very knowledgeable about dentistry but also proper breathing and is a wonderful resource for information there. I can tell he really cares about his patients and I couldn’t imagine bringing my kids anywhere else.

“I really believe every child is unique and deserves special care and treatment designed just for them.”
Dr. Matt began his dental journey by graduating from Indiana University of Pennsylvania with a Bachelor of Science in Natural Sciences and Mathematics. He went on to earn his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from The University of Pittsburgh School of Dental Medicine.

He loves spending time with his wife who works in the fashion corporate world and is the driving influence behind Dr. Matt’s fashion choices. He also enjoys reading, biking, running, hanging out with his two rescue dogs, Griffin and Eddie.
Following dental school, Dr. Matt completed his General Practice Residency at The Ohio State University. He served patients as a general dentist for four years before completing a one-year Fellowship at The Ohio State University/Nationwide Children’s Hospital. With a passion for helping children, he went on to complete a pediatric dental residency program at Children’s Hospital of Michigan.
Beyond offering specialized pediatric dentistry, Dr. Matt’s continuing education focuses on airway growth and development through interceptive orthopedic and orthodontic treatment. His goal is to help children eat, breathe, and sleep properly while laying the foundation for a lifetime of oral health.
I grew up in New Hampshire and spent eight years in the U.S. Navy as a Seabee Construction Electrician - an experience that taught me discipline, teamwork, and how to thrive under pressure. After leaving the military, I followed a new path into dental healthcare, attending Dental Assisting School in Virginia Beach. Life brought me to Ohio, where I started a family and dove into learning, earning certifications in Coronal Polishing, Sealants, Expanded Functions Dental Auxiliary (EFDA), and Certified Professional Coder – Apprentice (CPC-A), along with associate degrees in Accounting and Business–Human Resource Management.
I joined Granville Pediatric Dentistry in 2015 as a dental assistant and became Office Manager in 2019. I love being part of a team that supports families and helps kids feel comfortable and cared for. When I’m not at the office, you’ll find me outside, with my children, working on our homestead, and soaking up the simple joys of country life.

Brielle began her dental career at C-TEC, earning her RDA in 2021 before joining Granville Pediatric Dentistry later that year. In May 2025, she expanded her skills by completing her EFDA certification, allowing her to take on an even greater role in helping children achieve healthy, happy smiles.
Outside the office, Brielle enjoys spending time with her significant other and their mini Dachshund. Together, they love hiking, exploring nature, floating on the river, and visiting local festivals and Renaissance fairs. Passionate, caring, and detail-oriented, Brielle brings warmth and positivity to everyone she meets.
Katelynn joined Granville Pediatric Dentistry in February 2021 through the Early Placement program at C-TEC, where she quickly discovered her passion for creating positive dental experiences for kids. After graduating that spring, she was thrilled to continue full-time with the team.
Her favorite part of pediatric dentistry is helping an anxious child through a procedure and seeing them leave with a smile—and sometimes a high five. When she’s not in the office, Katelynn enjoys traveling, cheering on her favorite sports teams, and spending time with her fiancé and their silver labrador. She’s dedicated to growing in her career and loves learning more about the field she’s so passionate about.
