Matthew Pingel, D.M.D.
Board Certified Pediatric Dentist
Dr. Matthew Pingel grew up in Mt. Lebanon, Pennsylvania. He graduated from Indiana University of Pennsylvania in 1999 with a Bachelor of Science in Natural Sciences and Mathematics. In 2003 he received his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from The University of Pittsburgh School of Dental Medicine and continued his training by completing a two-year residency program in general dentistry at The Ohio State University in 2004.
Dr. Pingel received his Pediatric specialty training from Nationwide Children’s Hospital of Michigan in Detroit, Michigan where he served as Chief Resident. During his pediatric training, he focused on growth and development, behavior guidance, treatment of children of all ages under nitrous oxide inhalation sedation and general anesthesia along with treatment and care for special health care needs children. He is a Board Certified Pediatric Dentist and is also a member of the American Dental Association(ADA), the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry(AAPD), the Ohio Academy of Pediatric Dentistry(OAPD), the Ohio Dental Association(ODA), and the Columbus Dental Society(CDS).
What might Dr. Pingel be doing on his off time? He may be outdoors biking, running, walking his dogs, doing yardwork, going to amusement parks, movies, watching the Pittsburgh Steelers, Penguins and/or the Pirates.
